How to Play 7 Card Stud Hi/Low Poker

A variation of traditional 7-Card Stud, this High-Low game refers to one in which the pot is split between the players with the highest- and lowest-value hands.

In order to qualify as a low hand, the hand must have five different cards no higher than an 8. The best low hand has the lowest high card.

If there’s a tie on the high card, the winner is the player whose next highest card is the lowest, and so on.
