How to Play 5 Card Draw Poker

5 card draw is a draw poker game; this means that players have one opportunity to exchange 0-5 cards.  The act of exchanging cards is called the "draw".

Game Play

1. The small blind and big blind are posted in turn by the two players sitting after (to the left) the dealer.

2. Each player is given 5 cards.

3. The first betting round starts with the first player after or to the left of the big blind.

4. After the first round of betting is completed, players are then given the opportunity to change 0-5 cards starting with the player to the left of the dealer.  The player may click on the cards, or use F4-F8 buttons to select or deselect the cards to be discarded and replaced.

5. Once all players have made their draw selections the final betting round begins starting with the first player after the big blind.

6. All remaining players in the hand go to a showdown where the winner is determined.
