This division is maybe the NFL's most mediocre. Not the worst
division, just right in the middle. The division could finish at
.500 if you add all the teams together. The strongest roster appears
to be Green Bay, but the question about the Packers is how effective
Rodgers will be, at least at the start. Therefore we think that the
Vikings and their vaunted rushing attack finish a step above the
Packers this year.1.
Minnesota Vikings 2008 NFL Preview
Projected Record: 10-6
The league’s best rushing attack and run defense. The
only question remains Tarvaris Jackson. With Adrian Peterson and Chester Taylor
the Vikings have the best running back tandem in the league by far. The passing

2. Green Bay Packers 2008 NFL
Preview
Projected Record: 8-8
Aaron Rodgers is the quarterback of the now in Green Bay. He is good enough
to displace Brett Favre. Then can anyone tell us what the Packers are doing
adding Brian Brohm in the second round and Matt Flynn in the seventh round? Is
Jon Gruden suddenly the GM of the Packers? You have to question the decision
making in Green Bay at some point...more
3. Chicago Bears 2008 NFL
Preview
Projected Record: 7-9
The Bears have two major problems. The first is that the offense scores
something like 4 points a game with roughly the same amount of points scored as
turnovers. This creates the second problem. A pissed off defense and a divided
locker room. We are not sure that this team will not implode upon the weight of
its quarterbacks at some point this year.
The Bears have two divisions: the one they share with Green
Bay, Detroit and Minnesota, and the one between their offense and defense...more
4. Detroit Lions 2008 NFL
Preview
Projected Record: 7-9
The Lions decided that they really didn't like scoring so many points, so
they got rid of Mike Martz and drafted Kevin Smith to challenge Tatum Bell.
Don't worry Lions fans, Jon Kitna will still be around to make all the mistakes
you love so much. The biggest news of the off-season in Detroit was that the
Lions actually waited until the 5th round to take a wide receiver. Amazing...more |
