Jim Zorn will go
down in history as the only
Washington Redskins coach with a
perfect regular-season record at
Texas Stadium.
Better yet, the Redskins are
going into October as a
legitimate contender in the NFC
East.
Jason Campbell threw two
touchdown passes and Clinton
Portis ran for 121 yards,
leading Washington to a 26-24
victory Sunday that gave the
Dallas Cowboys their first loss
and made the toughest division
in the NFL even more
interesting.
The Redskins came in with
consecutive wins since a lousy
performance in the opener, but
there were still questions about
how good they were. Going on the
road to beat one of the most
talented teams in football
certainly improves their
perception. For now, at least,
Washington has turned the NFC
East into a four-team race....

Preview:
These games are usually wars, but the Cowboys appear to be the
class of the NFC so far. The Redskins have played one game on the road - a 16-10
season-opening loss to the Giants - and looked offensively inept in that
contest.
Its only the fourth week of the season, but the undefeated
Dallas Cowboys are already talking about gearing up for a playoff run. This
shouldn't be a surprise considering how they've been winning, though.
The Cowboys look to build off their most complete victory of the season on
Sunday when they host the Washington Redskins, who will be without six-time Pro
Bowl defensive end Jason Taylor.
In its season-opening 28-10 win at Cleveland on Sept. 7, Dallas' defense allowed
just 205 yards and limited the Browns to 11 first downs. That same defense was
bailed out by the Cowboys' high-powered offense against Philadelphia in Week 2
in a 41-37 victory...more
Inside the Game Plans:
Notable:
REDSKINS: Having
been unable to run on the Cowboys' 3-4 defense in recent years, the
Redskins will try to use coach Jim Zorn's West Coast passing game like a
running attack, moving the chains with short passes from QB Jason
Campbell to WRs Santana Moss and Antwaan Randle El and TE Chris Cooley.
The Redskins started well and finished well against New Orleans and
Arizona but went through lulls in the middle quarter. They need to be
sharp all the way through to have a chance of beating the Cowboys in
Dallas...FULL

COWBOYS: Look
for the Cowboys to continue to take what the defense gives them on
offense. They have so many weapons that they can win with the run or the
pass. Either area is going to open up the other. Defensively, they must
stop the run, force quarterback Jason Campbell into mistakes and prevent
big plays down the field to Santana Moss...FULL
