Titans revenge their loss, dominate winless Lions 47-10
The Tennessee Titans wanted to re-establish the run to get back
on track after losing for the first time.
The Detroit Lions were very accommodating.
Chris Johnson ran for 125 yards and scored twice in the first quarter and
LenDale White had two touchdowns in the second and finished with 106 yards
rushing, setting up Tennessee for a 47-10 win over Detroit on Thursday.
“It’s nice to be able to do what you set out to do,” coach Jeff Fisher said.
“Both backs got a lot of yards on their own, but they got a lot of help up
front.”
Johnson was untouched on a short run to the outside and a long gain up the
middle.
The two plays were symbolic of the canyon-like gap between the once-beaten
Titans and the winless Lions.

The Tennessee Titans are
looking to rebound from a loss
for the first time this year.
That's the way the Detroit Lions
have spent their entire season.
If there's a good way to bounce
back from a defeat, it would
seem to be a matchup with the
Detroit Lions, who must beat the
AFC-best Titans to avoid
emerging from their annual
Thanksgiving Day game with a
winless record for the second
time in franchise history. "No
one is quitting, but we don't
know how to win," said Lions
defensive tackle Shaun Cody...more
Prediction: A short week can
be a blessing for both these teams. The Titans get a chance to rebound quickly,
and the Lions just want the season over with, if they could they would just play
the rest of their games Friday through Monday and be done with it.
