Previews:
Hurricane Katrina ravaged New
Orleans three years ago,
flooding 80 percent of the city
and forcing the New Orleans
Saints out of their home stadium
for the entire 2005 season.
Despite concerns that Hurricane
Gustav might pack a similar
punch when it hit land early
this week, the city -- and its
rebuilt Superdome -- held up

the city in anticipation of the
storm, the Saints make their
second return to the Superdome
in three years Sunday when they
open the 2008 season by hosting
the NFC South rival Tampa Bay

has not played or practiced much in the off-season and Gruden has to make his
legs count. So look for the Bucs to be balanced, utilizing their two tight end,
one back sets to pound the ball in the early downs. Then both Graham and Dunn
could share the backfield to create mismatches on passing downs. Defensively,
the Bucs haven't done much to improve their pass rush. So defensive coordinator
Monte Kiffin may have to rely on more blitzes than normal in the Tampa Two
scheme...FULL

start, the Saints must find out where their running game is. Bruised and
battered last season when Deuce McAllister went down in Week 3 with a torn left
ACL, the Saints struggled in his absence and went on to finish 28th in rushing
offense with 91.6 yards per game. McAllister has returned from the injury, but
he was brought along slowly in the exhibition season -- leaving many to wonder
how effective he will be. They can make a big statement against the Bucs,
however, if he, Reggie Bush, Aaron Stecker and Pierre Thomas can gain some
confidence with a good game against the Bucs' defense...FULL
