As "America's team," the
Dallas Cowboys have long been
accustomed to the glare of the
national spotlight.
Though Super Bowl expectations,
a cast of big-name players with
checkered pasts and the filming
of a reality show about the team
made that spotlight as bright as
ever coming into this season,
the Cowboys appear determined to
keep their focus on the football
field.
After a relatively calm
offseason given the
circumstances, the Cowboys look
to take their first step toward
a third consecutive playoff
berth -- and a more successful
finish -- as they visit the
Cleveland Browns in each team's
season opener Sunday...more

COWBOYS: The Cowboys will need to contain
running back Jamaal Lewis and force quarterback Derek Anderson into long passing
situations. The Browns would be too tough if Lewis got untracked and Anderson
could use tight end Kellen Winslow and receivers Braylon Edwards to make plays
down the field. Offensively, the Cowboys are going to try to establish the run,
but look for them to exploit an experienced Browns secondary with plays
downfield to receiver Terrell Owens...FULL

BROWNS: The Browns will need the ultimate
in cooperation from the front seven and the secondary to derail the powerful
Cowboys offense. That could mean a lot of zone defense, particularly when the
Browns use five or six DBs. They could play a combination man-zone with one
defender sticking with Terrell Owens and another to Jason Witten while the rest
