Titans sack Panthers
Tennessee showed once again
Sunday how to win with defense.
The Titans sacked Panthers
quarterback David Carr a
season-high seven times and held
Carolina to seven points, the
sixth time this season they have
limited an opponent to 14 or
fewer points.
LenDale White rushed for 100
yards for the third straight
game and added a touchdown as
the Titans offset a flurry of
turnovers and penalties to claim
a sloppy win.
Carr made his third start of
the season with Vinny Testaverde
relegated to third string. But
Testaverde couldn't have done
worse than Carr and backup Matt
Moore, who both tossed
interceptions.
