Talk about bad omens. An
overhead NBC television camera
mounted on wires collapsed onto
the turf during a timeout early
in Sunday night's game between
the New Orleans Saints and
Seattle Seahawks, almost hitting
two Seattle players and causing
a 10-minute delay.
The Saints had just called
timeout with 11:24 remaining in
the first quarter when the
camera slumped and then fell a
few yards from quarterback
Matt Hasselbeck and the
rest of the huddling Seahawks.
After the camera was righted
somewhat off the ground, it fell
again - and nearly hit
Bobby Engram as the
receiver was walking to the
sideline...more

The most explosive team in the division, but without a more trustworthy rushing attack, the Saints will have trouble dictating the flow of games. Last year showed the Saints one thing. Reggie Bush is NOT an every down back. The Saints need Deuce McAllister to be the every down back. Jeremy Shockey comes over from the Giants to give Drew Brees a potent check down target. The offense should be much better. The Saints defense was just horrible last year, but adding Sedrick Ellis and Tracy Porter in the draft as well as Jonathon Vilma should strengthen that unit greatly. Remember it was only a year ago that the Saints were in the NFC title game...

The Seahawks are the owners of the divisions best combination of talent and experience. The age thing will keep them back as much as it helps, and with Mike Holmgrem walking at the end of the year they will be trying to send him out on top...
OK we know the Seahawks seem to have a lock on the West, but this is some ridiculous drafting, its almost like Holmgren was making the picks and laughing his ass off knowing he wouldn't be around to pay for it later...
