Giants defense goes wild in 16-3 smashing of Eagles

In an important NFC East game, the Giants' defense came out striking, sacking Eagles QB Donovan McNabb 12 times, six by Osi Umenyiora, which is a new Giants' team record. The 12 team sacks tied the league record.

A second-quarter touchdown pass from Eli Manning to Plaxico Burress was all the Giants needed for the win, which brought them back to .500, and sent the Eagles to 1-3.
