half, but Kansas City had an
answer after halftime, shutting
out the Chargers' high-powered
offense and scoring 24
unanswered points to win 30-16.
Larry Johnson rushed for more
than 100 yards and Damon Huard
threw touchdown passes to Tony
Gonzalez and rookie Dwayne Bowe,
who killed the Chargers with
eight catches for 164 yards.
With the loss, San Diego
(1-3) claimed sole possession of
last place in the AFC West, a
division it won last year. The
