Browns get offensive, manhandle Ravens 27-13

The Browns may not have enough to ultimately contend for AFC North division championship, but it's already apparent that they'll have a say in who does.

Two weeks after stunning the Bengals in a shootout, the Browns manhandled the Ravens Sunday in Cleveland. They had a 24-6 lead at halftime, and were never seriously threatened in the second half.

Browns receiver Braylon Edwards continued to emerge as a big-play threat with a 78-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter.

September was viewed as crucial for Browns coach Romeo Crennel's job security, and a .500 overall record and a 2-1 mark within the division should end any talk of a coaching change in Cleveland...more
