Johnson stuffed, Chiefs QB Damon
Huard stepped up the passing
game and lofted the game-winner
to Dwayne Bowe to complete a
comeback win over the Vikings
and avoid the team's first 0-3
start in 27 years.
Johnson was held to 42 yards
on 24 carries. So the Chiefs
turned to tight end Tony
Gonzalez and Bowe to fuel a
12-play, 84-yard march that was
capped by Bowe's 16-yard TD
catch.
Vikings' QB Kelly Holcomb
overthrew his receivers on
several potential scoring plays
and could couldn't muster much
offense after leading the team
into the end zone on its first
