The
high-scoring Denver Broncos
found out the hard way Sunday
that without the ball it is
tough to put points on the
board.
Jacksonville controlled the
football for 39 minutes, and the
Jaguars defense limited Denver
running back Travis Henry to 35
yards rushing in a 23-14 win.
Henry's counterpart, Fred
Taylor, rushed for 84 yards for
the Jaguars, who got 154 yards
passing and a touchdown from
quarterback David Garrard, John
Carney also kicked three field
goals for the Jags (2-1).
Denver quarterback Jay Cutler
threw for a touchdown, but was
intercepted late in the game to
seal Jacksonville's win. The
Broncos came in averaging about
455 yards of offense, but were
