the Titans overcame the loss of
their star QB, Vince Young, to
beat the Colts and earn the
AFC's final playoff spot,
eliminating the Browns in the
process.Young went 14-of-18
for 157 yards before leaving in
the third quarter with a right
quadriceps injury. He was
replaced by veteran Kerry
Collins, who went 10-of-13 for
106 yards to end the game.

with 45 yards rushing.

The Titans will try to play keep
away against the Colts, sticking
with the run even if they fall
behind. It's important that they
hang in early, when QB Peyton
Manning and front-line Colts
will see some action before
yielding to backups. But Manning
has thrown three TD passes in
the first half twice this
season, including against the
tough Jaguars.
Against the Colts, the
Titans' intention is always to
do well in time of possession,
force Indy to drive the ball
without big plays, get a big
play or two on defense and
special teams and have a chance

time of several offensive and
defensive starters against
Tennessee, the goals are the
same. Indianapolis would like to
finish with 14 wins as a team
and would like to go into the
postseason on a winning note.
Offensively, the key will be
to continue to develop the
timing in a running attack that
hasn't been as consistent as it
was a year ago. Depending on who
plays and how long, working on
the timing with the team's
younger receivers will also be
