On a day when the Redskins
remembered their fallen
teammate, the defense did Sean
Taylor proud by keeping the
Buffalo Bills out of the end
zone. Unfortunately for
Washington it couldn't stop
kicker Rian Lindell.
Lindell kicked five field
goals, including the game-winner
from 36 yards away with :52 left
to complete Buffalo's 17-16
comeback in a game that featured
eight field goals and a safety.
Clinton Portis scored the
game's only touchdown for the
Redskins (5-7), who were playing
their first game since Taylor
died Tuesday in Miami from a
gunshot wound. Buffalo (6-6)
snapped a two-game losing skid
to keep its AFC playoff hopes
alive.
