Johnson doesn't miss a step as Texans harass Brees, Saints to come away with 23-10 victory
|
Game Storylines and
Recaps |
Andre Johnson was back, Mario
Williams was solid and the
Houston Texans got the win.
Reggie Bush? An afterthought.
Johnson had 120 yards
receiving and a touchdown and
Williams harassed Drew Brees all
day to help the Texans to a
23-10 victory over the
error-prone New Orleans Saints
on Sunday.
The Texans (5-5) scored 17
points before halftime and
stayed on top with tough defense
in the second half that kept the
Saints (4-6), who had five
turnovers, scoreless.

chances of winning the weak NFC
South despite getting off to
their worst start in more than a
decade. A stunning loss,
however, will make repeating as
division champs a little more
challenging. After having their
four-game win streak snapped,
the Saints look to get back on
track when they visit the
Houston Texans on Sunday. New
Orleans (4-5) opened this season
with four straight losses for
its worst start since 1996, when
the Saints dropped their first
five games en route to a 3-13
