Holding a big lead, the Jags
looked like they were going to
cruise into the second round of
the playoffs, but a furious
Pittsburgh rally put the
Steelers up late. David Garrard
and the Jags responded, though,
and hit a game-winning FG with
37 seconds left in the game.
With the win, the Jags became
the first team to ever beat the
Steelers at home twice in the
same season. They won 29-22 in
their Dec. 16 matchup in
Pittsburgh.
Garrard struggled throwing
the ball, going just 9-of-21 for
140 yards, one touchdown and two
interceptions, but he did add 58
yards on the ground. Fred Taylor
carried the ball 16 times for 48
yards and a touchdown, while
Maurice Jones-Drew had 72 yards
combined rushing and receiving
with two touchdowns, and also
added a 96-yard kick return that
