Ryan Longwell's 31-yard field goal with one minute remaining gave the Vikings a 19-16 victory against the Washington Redskins in one of the few exciting games of the weekend.

The Redskins had a chance to send the game to overtime after Longwell's kick, but John Hall was wide left with a 48-yard field goal attempt with 12 seconds remaining.

The Vikings are the 10th road team to win in the NFL's opening weekend, continuing the upset weekend and throwing everyone's ideas of who was going to be the teams to beat this year back to the drawing board.
