Recap: It took a while, 16 years to be exact, but someone finally shut Brett Favre completely down. For the first time in a storied career Brett Favre could not lead his team to any points at all. Even in Green Bay which used to be a fearsome place to play.

After spending the first half handing off and only attempting 5 passes and completing all of them, Favre had to attempt a comeback against a stout Chicago defense that was teeing off with a big lead after the half.

The Bears have a good to great defense, but Favre put it best when he said postgame...

"Yeah, give them credit, maybe we just ain't very good."

This looks to be a long season for Favre and the Packers.
