Recap: The Falcons had upset on their minds and everyone's
Super Bowl darlings couldn't do a thing to stop it.
The Falcons revamped defense featuring John Abraham and Grady
Jackson had its way with the Panthers offense, holding them to 215
total yards and just 65 rushing yards.
Granted the Panthers were without all-Pro
receiver Steve Smith, but last time we checked he doesn't rush the
ball or play quarterback.
Atlanta won this game the old fashioned way as they just handled
Carolina with ease racking up 252 rushing yards and 385 total net
yards.
