Dallas Cowboys 2008 NFL Draft and
Free Agency Team Needs
The top needs for the Cowboys to fill
in the upcoming draft and free agency.
Cornerback: Jacques Reeves was horrible last
year and is a free agent to boot. At the absolute least Dallas needs an
upgrade in the nickel that they can groom to eventually start down the line
but best they get a corner to allow Anthony Henry to move to FS and say
goodbye to Reeves
Offensive Line — An offensive tackle better
at pass protection still good at run-blocking is needed to give the team
some insurance at right tackle as well as a guard to groom for the future.
Wide Receiver: I hate to even put
this because almost any team would kill for the Cowboys receivers, but you
have to realize that even though Patrick Crayton emerged and was locked up
long-term that Terrell Owens is getting older and Terry Glenn may be just
about finished so they could use a young, speedy deep threat to groom.
Running Back: Julius Jones is a free
agent who is not expected back and though Marion Barber is great, he has
never had to carry the complete load so he is still somewhat unproven in
that role and they need someone to complement him
