Cleveland Browns 2008 NFL Draft and
Free Agency Team Needs
The top needs for the Browns to fill
in the upcoming draft and free agency.
Running Back:
Jamal Lewis will be 29 before the 2008 season begins, so it might be time to
find his eventual replacement
Left defensive end:
Stopping the run goes hand-in-hand with pressuring the quarterback in the
Browns' plan to get better in the offseason. Finding an end in a 3-4 is
tricky, which is why they have been looking for one for two years. They have
some solid guys like Robaire & Shaun Smith and Orpheus Roye but still lack a
real difference maker.
Defensive Tackle: One
of the keys to any good 3-4 defense is a top nose tackle in the middle and
the Browns don't have one.
Outside linebacker:
The Browns want to do get after opposing quarterbacks, but they won't get
there until they find a left outside linebacker to team with Kamerion
Wimbley on the right side
