Baltimore Ravens 2008 NFL Draft and Free Agency Team Needs

The top needs for the Ravens to fill in the upcoming draft and free agency.

Quarterback: Even if he could manage to stay healthy the days of Steve McNair being a top signal caller are long gone. Meanwhile Kyle Boller has shown time and time again that he's not the answer.

Cornerback: Chris McAlister has battled injuries and Samari Rolle is getting older and he also battled injuries and a illness. Even more disturbing is their extreme lack of depth beyond those two starters. The only problem is no cornerback rates high enough for the Ravens to take one with the No. 8 overall pick.

Defensive end: The Ravens' pass rush dropped off significantly when Trevor Pryce got injured. The Ravens need more depth as far as pass rushers and could find one high in the first round.

Linebacker: We have been saying for a while now that it is time to groom a replacement for Ray Lewis, but he keeps going and going. Still, depth is needed here and eventually he will need to start grooming his own replacement.
