The
Jaguars gave up a lot to move up in this
draft, but they think it was worth it.
They never hid their desire for DE
Derrick Harvey and moved aggressively
from 26th spot in the first round to
eighth to get him. Harvey looks like the
most upside of all the DEs, so this
pick, even at the cost, ought to be
success. Same idea in moving up to get
Quentin Groves. We all know the only way
to knock off the Colts is to knock down
Manning. This draft will help them with
that, but wont help them score any
points.

Derrick Harvey
DE
Florida
HEIGHT:
6-4 WEIGHT: 262
Harvey is a hybrid defensive end/ linebacker who can
play both right defensive end in a 4-3 and rush
linebacker in a 3-4. He is quick and will give some speed coming off the edge.
Notes: Harvey started football late, in
junior year of high school so he still has a lot of
learning to do, but also has a lot of upside.
