Offensive Line -
The loss of Steve Hutchinson has
killed Seattle's running game.
Finding an adequate replacement
should top their off-season
list. Left
tackle Walter Jones will soon be
thirty-three and right guard
Chris Gray will be thirty-seven
when next season opens play. The
line needs youth, and it may
need another top lineman to help
alleviate the losses and age the
line faces
Defensive End - Grant
Wistrom is nearing the end of
his career, and Bryce Fisher is
a non-impact player. A young
pass rusher is desperately
needed.
Safety - Finding a strong
safety has proven elusive, with
once-promising Michael Boulware
now on the bench.
Tight End - Letting
Jerramy Stevens go means the
Seahawks foremost need on
offense is a pass-catching TE
for the offense, plus a
run-blocking tight end.
Seattle Seahawks Free Agency
Notes:
Primary defensive needs
are two bigger safeties capable
of starting immediately, plus
more size along DL and depth at
LB. WR is not a need, even with
Engram likely leaving and
Darrell Jackson being shopped
for a trade, because of
additions of Deion Branch and
Nate Burleson last year
