TEXAS TECH: MARCH 8
Fifteen NFL teams were represented. An offensive line coach from St. Louis was among the scouts. The short shuttle and the jumps were held indoors. The players ran outside on FieldTurf on a beautiful day with a slight wind.
Player Position  
Joel Filani WR Filani (6-1 1/8, 211) stood on the 40 times he ran at the Combine. He ran the short shuttle in 4.10 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.81. He was the all-Big 12 first team his final two seasons in Lubbock.
Keyunta Dawson DE Dawson (6-1 1/8, 272), a second-team all-Big 12 choice last season, pulled his hamstring while running the 40 in 4.72 seconds. He also had a 33½-inch vertical jump and a 9-foot-6 broad jump.
Gabe Hall OL Hall (6-3¾, 304) did line drills only. He stood on everything he did at the Combine.
Jarrett Hicks WR Hicks (6-2¾, 211) ran one 40 against the wind in 4.64 seconds, and another with the wind in 4.61. He also ran the short shuttle in 4.43 and the three-cone drill in 6.83.
Antonio Huffman DB Huffman (5-10 5/8, 176) ran one 40 against the wind in 4.62 seconds, and another with the wind in 4.55. He also ran the short shuttle in 4.83 and the three-cone drill in 7.20. In addition, he had a 30-inch vertical jump and an 8-foot-9 broad jump.
Robert Johnson WR Johnson (6-0½, 211) ran one 40 against the wind in 4.79 seconds, and another with the wind in 4.74. He also ran the short shuttle in 4.43 and the three-cone drill in 7.46. In addition, he had a 29-inch vertical jump and an 8-foot-7 broad jump.
Manuel Ramirez G Ramirez (6-3¼, 330) was not cleared to work out. At the Combine, he bench-pressed 225 pounds 40 times.
Alex Reyes P Reyes punted and kicked off in front of the scouts.
