line coach Hudson Houck, Dallas
head scout Jeff Ireland, plus
three three NFL defensive-line
coaches and one NFL linebackers
coach. The workout was held
indoors on FieldTurf.

Drew Stanton
QB
Drew Stanton (6-3, 230) stood on
everything he did at the
Combine. He will work out March
24 at the University of Miami.
Clifton Ryan
DL
Ryan (6-2¼, 305) was timed in
the 40 in 5.14 seconds, the
short shuttle in 4.83 and the
three-cone drill in 7.36. He
also had a 29-inch vertical
jump, a 8-foot-4 broad jump and
25 bench presses.
Matt Trannon
WR
Trannon (214 pounds), a former
basketball player, ran the
three-cone drill in 6.82 seconds
and stood on everything else he
did at the Combine.
Kyle Cook
G
Cook (6-3½, 291) was timed in
the 40 in 5.29 seconds, the
short shuttle in 4.51 and the
three-cone drill in 7.56. He
also had a 28-inch vertical
jump, an 8-foot-5 broad jump and
40 bench presses.
Brian Bury
LS
Bury (5-11 3/8, 246) ran the 40
in 5.40 seconds. He also had a
31-inch vertical jump, a
8-foot-7 broad jump and 27 bench
presses. Because of a pulled
hamstring, he couldn't run the
drills.
Demond Williams
CB
Williams (5-9, 171) was timed in
the 40 in 4.77, the short
shuttle in 4.46 and the
three-cone drill in 7.16. He
also had a 37-inch vertical
jump, a 10-foot-5 broad jump and
13 bench presses.
Brandon Fields
P
Fields (6-4 7/8, 236), who
participated in the Combine, did
only the position drills.
Greg Cooper
CB
Cooper (5-10½, 181) ran his 40s
in 4.62 seconds, the short
shuttle in 4.49 and the
three-cone drill in 7.13. He
also had a 33-inch vertical
jump, a 9-foot-10 broad jump and
15 bench presses.
Kerry Reed
WR
Reed (6-1¾, 200), who went to
South Dade High School in
Homestead, Fla., worked out at
Miami's Pro Day in Coral Gables
on March 3. He ran his 40s in
4.49 and 4.56 seconds, the short
shuttle in 4.31 and the
three-cone drill in 6.72. He
also had a 38-inch vertical jump
and a 10-foot-5 broad jump.
Dave Herron
LB/FB
Herron (6-1, 239), ran his 40s
in 4.68 and 4.67 seconds, the
short shuttle in 4.42 and the
three-cone drill in 7.03. He
also had a 34½-inch vertical
jump, a 10-foot-2 broad jump and
19 bench presses. He performed
drills at both positions and
caught the ball well. In high
school, Herron was Maurice
Clarett's blocking back.
