Ryan is an intelligent
blocker who works hard in all aspects of the game,
Kalil has a great understanding of the game.
He explodes off the
snap, quickly gets his hands into opponents and
plays hard until the whistle blows. Jolts opponents
at the point and redirects to linebackers on the
second level. Plays with an attitude partly possible
due to the fact he is a little small framed and
sometimes has trouble finishing blocks.
Using all his tools
to their maximum, he could develop into a starter at
the next level as he adds bulk and strength to his
frame
Notable: His
father, Frank, was a center at Arkansas (1978) and
Arizona (1980-81-82), then was drafted by the
Buffalo Bills in 1982 before playing for the USFL's
Arizona Wranglers in 1983 and Houston Gamblers in
1984. |
