Cleveland Browns Draft Recap - 2007 NFL Draft
Going back into the first round to get Brady Quinn was a bold move. The Browns had the best draft of anyone as they got a franchise left tackle and a franchise quarterback. And if Wright can stay out of trouble they got a franchise corner as well. This may go down as one of the best drafts in NFL history. There are three players in this draft that 5 years from now can be the top three players at their positions in the NFL. Not too shabby

Overall Grade: A+

1 3 Joe Thomas OT Wisconsin
 Analysis
This is the best left tackle in the draft. There arent even any questions about it. The pick seemed a little off at the time, but by trading up to get Quinn, they ended up with arguably two of the best players.

Overall Value: 1  Pick Value: 1  Bust factor: 2

1 22 Brady Quinn QB Notre Dame
 Analysis
The Browns have achieved the best of both worlds. They landed their franchise quarterback (despite his free fall from upper tier of the first round) and they have a blocker who can help protect him for many years to come. Quinn will compete for the starting spot in a crowded backfield, joining Charlie Frye and Derek Anderson both of whome he is way better than right now. Was next year's first-round choice too high a price? Not for a franchise quarterback.

Overall Value: 2  Pick Value: 3  Bust factor: 4

2 53 Eric Wright CB Nevada-Las Vegas
 Analysis
Wright is a very good cornerback who would have been taken in the 15-20 range in Round 1 if it weren't for off-the-field issues. He might even be the best corner in this draft. A chance for sure, but one worth taking. The Browns gave up a lot to move up and get him, but if he works out he will be great.

Overall Value: 2  Pick Value: 5  Bust factor: 5

 Analysis
Everybody is looking for KRs and this is a guy who did that plus play WR at Arizona.
