The
Bills really did some nice work in the
draft, almost every player they picked
up was projected to go higher, and they
filled several needs as well. Buffalo
addressed the most pressing holes (RB,
LB) and appeared to get good value with
their three middle round picks really
the only negative you could come up with
is that Buffalo still needed a
cornerback and it can be argued that
Dwayne Wrights spot in the fourth would
have been better used on a corner. That
is nitpicking though.

Marshawn Lynch
RB
California
Analysis
Lynch was
incredibly productive in
college, he fills a real
need and provided good value
at the 12 spot. Lynch was a
three-year player who has
shared carries, so he
doesn't have as many carries
under his belt as you would
like, but he has big upside
and doesn't have too much
wear and tear. The big
question with Lynch is
character and only time will
tell how that will work out.

Penn State
Analysis
Posluszny was
a four-year starter at Penn
State almost every mock had
him in the first round. This
was a very solid pick.
Posluszny played injured
most of the year or he never
would have made it out of
the first round.

Edwards
QB
Stanford
Analysis
Edwards,
along with Vince Young five
years ago, was one of the
most highly pursued high
school quarterbacks in
history. He’s smart,
athletic and has a good arm.
The only problem is that in
college he could not win.
Mostly that was because he
spent a lot of time on his
back. He has a ton of upside
potential, and with no
immediate pressure can
mature into a very fine QB.

Dwayne
Wright
RB
Fresno State
Analysis
He’s a big
back (5-11 1/2, 228) and he
ran under 4.7. He was quite
productive on a bad team
last year (1,400 yards; 12
touchdowns; 29 catches) and
he can play all three downs.
Will make a nice one-two
with Lynch as a powerful
runner that can get the
tough yards inside. He has
had some injury issues, but
he is a monster when healthy.

his super-human speed and

He won't start, but will

A starter via

pretty productive player at
Oklahoma. He was a starter
who should have been drafted
much higher because his
size/speed ratio is
fantastic. 6' 3" 275 pounds
