Levi
Brown will be a great player. The move
up to get defensive tackle Alan Branch
at the top of the second round was a
shrewd gamble he dominates when properly
motivated. The interior of that
defensive line is talent-rich but is
going to need plenty of motivation.
The Cardinals made pretty good use of
their five picks.
Offensive
tackle was a
major
priority for
the
Cardinals,
and Brown
looks as if
he will fill
that hole
well. There
wasn't all
that wide of
a ratings
gap between
Thomas and
Brown. Brown
should make
a
significant
difference
in Arizona's
ability to
run the ball
while also
allowing
Matt Leinart
to take his
game to
another
level.
However this
is way early
for him.
They should
have traded
back a few
spots.
Alan Branch
at one time
was
considered
to be a
top-10 pick.
This was a
steal. He
dropped
based on a
poor
combine, but
he dominates
where it
counts on
the field.
Davis (5-9
3/4, 239) is
a short
linebacker
who is a
very, very
competitive
player
(think Sam
Mills). He
ran a 4.64.
He might be
short, but
he just
makes plays.
He is all
over the
football
field, great
instincts,
speed and
tackling
ability
An
outstanding
return man.
He's 6-0 3/8
and 193
pounds with
4.46 speed.
A speedy
wideout that
can return
punts and
kicks
although he
will have
trouble
getting on
the field on
offense with
the
Cardinals
talent.
