Player Profiles
As always we will be providing prospects for all the top players in the 2006 NFL
draft. Keep an eye out throughout the offseason for more prospects every week.
Reggie
Bush, Tailback, Southern California: Quite possibly the best overall
prospect in the draft, Reggie Bush has unbelievable agility and the
God-given ability to simply make defenders miss with his athletic cuts and
elusive running style
D'Brickashaw
Ferguson, OL, Virginia: D'Brickashaw Ferguson is an absolutely
incredible athlete for his position. Plus he has a really cool name for an
Offensive lineman.
A.J. Hawk, Linebacker, Ohio State: The best linebacker coming out,
AJ is fast enough that he can run down most RBs and TEs, and athletic enough
to change direction and make a play.
Matt Leinart, QB, Southern California:
He would have been the first player picked in this year's draft. Barring an injury, he's the top
player next year.
DeAngelo
Williams, RB, Memphis: One of the most productive running backs in
NCAA history...Could have been a first rounder in 2005 but chose to return
to school for his senior season...An all-around great runner who really
lacks many glaring weaknesses
Mario
Williams, DE, NC State: A quick pass rusher with the
height to disrupt plays, Mario Williams has been a starter in Raleigh since
his freshman year. He has outstanding speed and long arms to get around the
offensive tackle. Williams has amazing athleticism.
Vince
Young, QB, Texas:
One of the
nation's top quarterbacks who combines a strong, accurate arm with great
foot speed and athletic ability.
