San Francisco 49ers Draft Recap - 2006 NFL Draft

The 49ers did a great job in moving up to get two first rounders both of whom are playmakers and then filled their receiver needs in the next rounds with very nice players for the system and in Robinson a very good risk/reward prospect. This team is still young and a ways from being great, but they are definitely moving in the right direction.

Vernon Davis has amazing strength for a player with his speed and agility. He has good size and soft hands but could face some troubles trying to block linebackers at the next level. Williams is a very quick-footed receiver, who runs very sharp and precise routes with good hands.
