Rodgers is very smart.  It will be interesting to see his wonderlic score.  He has total command of his offense and effortless motion in his ball handling skills, he seems to be a student of the game making excellent decisions under pressure.

Does not play well on the move which is the one drawback to his game.  He makes excellent decisions when things break down as he mentally plays as if he was already in the pro ranks, but don't expect him to make it happen in breakdowns on a regular basis.  he is more likely to throw the ball away and play for another series.

Probably the most mentally well put together qb in the draft.  many draftniks have him rated above Leinhart although he may be as god eventually he is not there yet mostly due to a relative lack of experience.

Draft Notes
Strengths: Football brilliance. Has great awareness for a young quarterback, very accurate, enough speed to buy time if needed. Keeps a cool head under pressure and is an excellent leader. Has all the tools needed to succeed at the next level.
Weaknesses: Doesn't have a ton of experience, especially against top competition. JuCo Transfer has only really played two years at the top level.  Will not come in and be the savior but with a few years of clipboard carrying could be a franchise qb.
Notes:   Rated as the current number five pick in our mock draft
Official Bio
Defying his age (19) and lack of major college experience, Rodgers emerged as one of the top field generals in the Pac-10 in his rookie campaign at Cal last season . named 2004 preseason Pac-10 Player of the Year by Athlon Sports . staged one of the best passing seasons of any sophomore in conference history, completing 61.6 percent of his passes (215-of-349) for 2,903 yards, 19 touchdowns and only five interceptions in 13 games to earn honorable mention All-Pac-10 notice . his crowning moment came in the Insight Bowl, where - despite missing his All-American wide receiver Geoff McArthur (fractured arm) in the lineup - he set all-time Cal bowl records for passing yardage (394) and highest completion percentage (77.1%, 27-of-35), and accounted for four touchdowns (two passing, two rushing) while throwing no interceptions....more
