Lee
Evans
NFL
Position: Wide Receiver
College: Wisconsin
Class: Senior
Ht: 5-11
Wt: 202
40 Yard Dash: |
Strengths:
Productive...Great hands...Great body control and ball
skills...Fast and quick...Smooth and Tough, a great combination.
A great athlete that can be a
teams #1 option.
Weaknesses: At under six feet tall, Evans lacks the
height and the reach of the big receivers who are currently the
"in" thing around the NFL. He will not enjoy the size
advantage that most of the top receiver prospects have when
matched up against pro cornerbacks. Has had some off the
field troubles. He tore his
ACL in 2/02 and required two operations on his left knee and
missed the entire 2002 season.
Notes: Would have been a first round pick in 2002 but went
back to Wisconsin for his senior season and blew out his knee in
spring practice...Looks to be all the way back and if he is you
are looking at a first round pick. Before his torn ACL in
2002, Lee was listed as the #1 receiver for the 2003 NFL Draft
over Charles Rogers, Andre Johnson and Roy Williams. He has
worked hard to get back and has regained his old form. At
the Line of Scrimmage, Lee shows a good, quick release with the
ability to get inside the defender into the hashes. He has
great acceleration and if he beats his man, there is no catching
him
