He was the epitome of the loser. Underdog wore a baggy superhero’s costume and
was the antithesis of my favorite super hero; Super Man. Underdog’s alter ego
was a humble, loveable Shoeshine Boy.
When Underdog went into action he would make a quick change from shoe shiner to
superhero in a token phone booth, Then Underdog would pop a Super Vitamin Pill
to rescue Polly Purebred as he flew away singing “Here I Come to Save the Day.”...
