2009 NFL Mock Draft - Version 3.0
April 24th, 2009

We go into our third mock and the changes are aplenty. The top 4 spots don't show any movement, but with Mike Crabtree moving up to number 5 the changes are aplenty from there down. With a few positive drug tests and huge trades involving Atlanta and KC knocking Brandon Pettigrew out of the Falcons slot and the Bills grabbing the 28 spot from Philly it just keeps changing as we move down the board...more

Michael Vick Could Be The Perfect Weapon
Michael Vick: The Perfect Player of the New NFL
As teams around the league are asked of their interest level in soon to be released quarterback and inmate Michael Vick, most teams show distinct separation from the subject. Many organizations were quoted as saying that the acquisition of Michael Vick is "highly doubtful" and that they are "not interested." But why? Sure his image was ruined, boycotted, and defaced, but his athletic ability was unquestionable...

Kurt Warner - All Time Great Or All Time Overrated?
As many now know, I have taken a very strong stance regarding my feelings of Kurt Warner as an NFL QB. I have stated many times, with time to set up in the pocket, Warner is as good as any QB to ever play the position.

Now, taking hyperbole and opinion out of the equation, let's see if the FACTS back up The People's Champ and see if the common "against" statements are true or false...more

Rookie Running Backs Making an Impact in 2008
For as long as I can remember, there's been an adjustment period for running backs as they come into the NFL. No matter how highly touted a running back prospect was, their first year was spent on the bench and in blocking situations to learn the ropes. Whether it's due to increasingly more pro-style offenses in college or simply coaches being more willing to let rookies spread their wings, there has clearly been an increase this year in rookie running back productivity...

Tony Romo is obviously the real MVP in 2008
How does the team do with and without the player? Although you cannot always examine a team without a certain player if they never leave the game, you can judge their value to a team based on the talent and productivity around them. Of course you can judge a player off of statistics, and many MVP winners win their award based off incredible statistics, but it never tells the true story...more

FemmeFan Weekly:  Interview with 49ers Wide Receiver Marcus Maxwell
The 49ers have ten wide receivers on the practice field, an eclectic mix of veterans and young ‘uns.

Football 101 – A Girl’s Guide To Football – Why The Game Matters
By: Jessica Hardwick

Can I tell you how tired I am of single women complaining about how hard it is to meet a decent man? The problem is not a dearth of quality men, in fact I know quite a few single gems, but rather where the ladies are looking. You aren’t going to find the right man in a sleazy bar or pickup joint. If you want a man who values integrity, honor, and good sportsmanship than you have go where the real men are, and in the fall, that means your local sports bar....more

Welcome to the latest edition of "Upon Further Review" as this is my final warm-up before the regular season starts and my last chance to get into mid-season form.

The preseason has come and gone. Yes, I know there is still one more preseason game left to play for everyone but let's be serious here... this game is less than a preseason game, it’s strictly a glorified scrimmage. So, with that in mind I will give you all my predictions for the year. Here we go:... more

FemmeFan Weekly: Underdog to the Rescue

You might remember a cartoon character with a big nose by the name of Underdog.
He was the epitome of the loser. Underdog wore a baggy superhero’s costume and was the antithesis of my favorite super hero; Super Man. Underdog’s alter ego was a humble, loveable Shoeshine Boy.
When Underdog went into action he would make a quick change from shoe shiner to superhero in a token phone booth, Then Underdog would pop a Super Vitamin Pill to rescue Polly Purebred as he flew away singing “Here I Come to Save the Day.”
