The Bucks are a decent basketball team and would probably
contend for second place in the Atlantic Division, but they play in the toughest
division in the NBA.
Milwaukee will lose a step without T.J. Ford, but we are
expecting an even better season out of Michael Redd.
The T.J. Ford for Charlie Villanueva deal looks like a winner.
With one deal, the Bucks got bigger, they saved money and they opted out of
having to determine whether Ford was worth signing to a contract extension,
given the severity of his injury history.
Andrew Bogut is the Bucks' future however and
Bogut could blossom into one of the game’s better big men. Last season’s
9.4 point, 7.0 rebound rookie campaign was a good start but isn't
be ready to star in the league this season.
With the young Charlie Villanueva and Bogut both needing to develop it will
be a challenge for the Bucks to accomplish what they did last year which was to
make the playoffs.
In a division that features at least two of the best defensive teams in the
conference, Milwaukee will find it hard to keep pace.
